The artist studio is a special space where we are inspired to make mistakes and be a genius. It is a space where there are no rules, no limitations, and no critics allowed. It gives our mind space to get quiet so our soul can paint. I am fortunate to have a private studio. This is my private studio and my gallery.
The immense uncertainty when standing in front of a blank canvas and leveraging the visual voices from within conjures up new concepts, styles, forms. It is sacred and non-glamorous. It can be thought of as a stage for the performance of making art. A room of one’s own that brings us back to ourselves.
